Education Manager
Reports to: Associate Director of Nursing
Status: Full-time, Exempt
Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday, first shift
Primary Functions: Responsible for successfully evaluating the organization’s training needs and developing and directing programs for staff training to support quality and positive patient outcomes. Also collaborates to develop and provide patient and community education in alignment with the organization’s strategic plan.
Qualifications: Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree required. Degree in healthcare or adult education preferred. Must have a minimum of three years education experience. Management experience preferred. Must have demonstrated competence in communication and quality improvement skills. Strong computer skills required, including MS Office programs. Must be able to read, speak, and write fluent English.
